- Visit summary
Let AI help summarise your finished visit.
Set up a workflow that uses AI to outline each visit and show your team what the patient needs next.

Overview
The next step is easy to lose once a patient has left the room. AI reads the finished visit’s record and writes who was seen, what was done and what comes next, so your team can pick it up.
Prerequisites
These are the pieces we suggest having ready before you switch this workflow on. Your clinic may set things up differently, so treat the list as a guide.
- A Visits list that includes:
Completestatus for your finished visits
- Slack connected to Sovica
How to use this template
Once it opens, you’ll see the blocks joined up in order.
- The Appointment status changed trigger opens this workflow. A run starts each time a visit’s status changes in your diary, from booked to arrived and on to finished. To get it working properly, choose the appointment types and locations you want covered, and point it at the status your clinicians use.
- The Condition block settles which visits go through. This is where you define a finished visit, and for most clinics that’s simply the status changing to Complete, so anything else ends here. If only certain treatments need a summary, add them as a further rule and everything else stays out of the channel.
- The Summarise record block is where AI comes in. It reads the visit’s note and record, then answers the prompt you give it. As this workflow is about what happens next, ask for that directly. An example prompt would be:
In one sentence: who {Record} saw, what was done, and the next step. - The Send Slack Message block posts what AI wrote to the channel you pick. Add the
{Summary}variable from the block above to your message, so your team reads it where they work.
