NABIDH: what it is and how Sovica connects

How Dubai clinics send patient records to the health authority’s exchange.

NABIDH is the Dubai Health Authority’s health information exchange. Licensed facilities in Dubai must share records with it. Sovica sends them for you as HL7 v2.5 messages.

What is sent

Patient records, visits, prescriptions, lab results, documents and problems, as they happen in Sovica.

What you need

  • Your facility’s NABIDH details from the health authority.

  • Emirates ID and nationality on patient records.

  • A specialty for each service, and a licence number for each practitioner.
