Table of Contents

What can patients pay with?

  • Card by card terminal, by manual entry or from a saved card.

  • A card taken elsewhere, recorded but not charged, and cash.

  • Account credit, loyalty points, gift vouchers and package sessions.

  • A payment link that the patient pays themselves.

Which provider handles cards?

Stripe, through your wallet. Processing fees show on each payout.

Can I take part-payment?

Yes. Enter less than the amount due, and the balance stays on the invoice as Part paid.

How long does a refund take?

Card refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to reach the patient, depending on their bank.

How do I track unpaid invoices?

Go to Money and filter Invoices by status. The Unpaid balance on the overview gives the total.

Can I ask for a deposit?

Yes. Set up a deposit policy, then patients pay when they book online or at the calendar.

Can patients add credit online?

Yes, by Account top-up through a payment link or the patient portal.

What about a dispute?

Open Disputes in Money, read the reason and either accept it or submit evidence before the Respond by date.
