Memberships explained
What a membership is, what it can include and what you need before you sell your first plan.
A membership is a subscription a patient pays for on a regular schedule. In return they get perks, such as free sessions, an automatic discount or credit to spend. Billing runs on its own once they sign up, and perks apply themselves at checkout.
What a plan can include
Service perks: a number of free sessions, or Unlimited.
Discount perks: one of your saved discounts, applied automatically.
Credits: money to spend, added at every payment or once at sign-up.
Other: anything you describe in words, such as priority booking.
Before you start
Online card payments must be set up, because memberships charge a saved card.
Create the services and discounts you want to offer first, so you can pick them as perks.
Each patient needs a record and a card on file, so walk-in patients can't join.
Where to find everything
Setup then Memberships holds your plans. Memberships under Clients shows your members and revenue. Each patient's own memberships are on their Financials tab.
