Set up batch tracking
Record batch numbers and expiry dates on each delivery, one product at a time or all at once.

Batch tracking keeps a running count of each delivery, warns before it expires and lets you record exactly which batch you used on a patient.
One product
Open the product, find Batch tracking on the General tab, and turn on Requires batch # and expiry date recording.
All products
Open the batches tab on Stock and click Quick setup.
Tick Track batches per product, or select many and choose Turn tracking on.
Set Expiry basis, either Use expiry date or Days after first use.
Set the Measure, Size and Per treatment dosage.
Click Save changes.
New batches are created when you receive a purchase order and enter its batch numbers.
