Enable card terminal tipping
Prompt patients for a tip when they pay on a card reader.

Turn it on
Go to Setup, open Policies and edit Tips.
Tick Enable tipping on pay by text or card terminals.
Save and confirm.
Suggested amounts
Default percentages follow your currency: 8%, 15% and 25% for pounds, and 15%, 20% and 25% for dollars and euros. Patients can also enter their own amount.
On the day
The reader asks for a tip during payment. The tip is added to the total paid, and you can see it in your reports.
