Manage terminals and tipping
Rename readers, check status and control tips.
Registered terminals on the Terminals tab of Payment processing shows each reader with its location, serial number and online status.
Find a terminal
Use the location menu to show one site, and All, Online or Offline to filter by status.
Change a terminal
Click the More menu on a terminal card:
Re-label terminal changes its display name, for example to show which desk it sits on.
Splash screen sets the image shown on the reader.
Remove terminal takes it off your account after you confirm. This cannot be undone.
Turn tipping on or off
Go to Setup, open Policies and edit Tips. Tick Enable tipping on pay by text or card terminals to ask patients for a tip while they pay on a reader, or clear it to stop asking. Save the policy when you finish.
