Take a card payment
Send a sale to the reader and wait for the card.
Once a terminal is registered at the sale's location, you can send the amount straight to it from the payment step.
Send the payment
Create the sale or invoice as usual and go to payment.
Choose Card Terminal as the method.
If the location has more than one reader, pick it under Choose terminal.
Click Send [amount] to terminal. The button shows the amount due.
The screen now waits for the card. The patient taps, inserts or swipes, and the payment completes on its own.
If something goes wrong
To stop while waiting, click Cancel. The reader is freed for the next sale.
If the card is declined, the reason appears with a Try again button.
If the method is unavailable, register a reader under Setup in Payment processing.
