Set up a WisePad 3
Power, charge and change the language on the handheld Bluetooth reader.
The WisePad 3 is a small handheld reader for payments away from the desk.
It is not waterproof. If it gets wet, let it dry fully before charging or using it.
Turn it on and off
To turn on: press and hold the power button at the top right of the keypad.
To turn off: hold it again, then press the green button at the power-off prompt.
The screen dims after a few seconds. After 5 minutes idle and disconnected, it beeps and powers off.
Charge it
Use the included USB cable, or any USB-A to USB-C cable. Expect to charge it once a day. A full charge gives roughly 600 chip or 800 contactless payments.
Change the language
Press the power button to open settings and use the arrow keys to reach the language option, then press the green button to choose.
