Turn a card reader on and off
Fit the battery, charge your WisePOS E, and power it on or off.

First use
Lift the back cover from the indent at the bottom left.
Slide the battery in with the gold connectors at the top.
Plug in the supplied cable at the port with the lightning bolt symbol, or use the Ethernet dock.
Power
On: hold the power button on the right side until the screen lights up.
Sleep or wake: press the power button once.
Off: hold the power button and choose power off on the screen.
Day to day
A full charge lasts about eight hours. Leave the reader plugged in and on at the desk, even overnight, so it can receive software updates.
