How patients book online

The steps a patient follows on your booking page.

Table of Contents

Knowing the booking journey helps you answer questions from patients and spot problems. Here is what they see.

The steps

  • Service: they search or browse, then click Add to booking and Continue.

  • Provider: they choose a person, or Any professional for the fastest availability.

  • Date & time: they pick a day and slot. If nothing suits, they can use Join Waitlist.

  • Payment: they sign in, pay any deposit and confirm.

Signing in

Patients enter their email and receive a 6-digit code, so there is no password to remember. New patients get an account automatically and complete a short details form if anything is missing.

Holding the slot

A timer holds the chosen slot for 5 minutes on the payment page, and nobody else can book it during that time. Once it runs out, the patient can finish checkout if the time is still free, or choose another.

The booking appears on your calendar with an icon showing it was booked online.
