Sovica glossary
The words Sovica uses, in plain language.
Sovica’s screens use some words in a particular way. This list explains the ones you will meet first, so you can match them to how your clinic talks.
People
Client: a patient. The screens say Clients.
Lead: someone who has enquired but has not yet become a patient.
Teammate: a member of your staff with a Sovica login.
Records
Client card: a patient’s full record, with tabs.
EMR: the clinical part of the card, with treatment notes, forms and photos.
Activity: a task with a due time and an owner.
Custom field: an extra detail you choose to track.
View: a saved filter on a list.
Workflows and AI
Workflow: steps that run when a trigger fires.
Sequence: timed follow-up messages sent to enrolled patients.
Agent: an AI worker that does a set job on a record.
AI Scribe: captures a consult and drafts the note.
Ask Sovica: plain-English questions about your own data.
