Calendar overview

What the calendar shows, what it depends on, and how shifts decide when you can book.

Table of Contents

The calendar holds every appointment, practitioner and room in one place, so you can see what's coming and spot the gaps.

How to read it

  • White areas are shifts, and grey areas are outside shifts.

  • Column headers show the staff member, plus the room if the shift has one.

  • A line marks the current time.

Set these up first

  • Locations, where appointments happen.

  • Team members and shifts, because you can book only within a shift.

  • Services, so there's something to book.

If gaps are your problem, use the waitlist. Patients can join it themselves, and you can offer them a cancelled slot.
