Features that use credits
Which actions spend credits, and how text messages are counted.
Your credit balance pays for messages and AI, so you only pay for what you send or generate.
What spends credits
SMS you send by hand or in a campaign, and SMS client notifications such as reminders.
AI drafts: 5 credits per use, such as a letter or service description, and 2 for a review reply.
AI Scribe: 1 credit each time a note is generated.
AI patient summary: 1 credit.
Other paid extras, such as video consultations and workflow messages.
How SMS is counted
A text is charged per segment. One segment holds 160 plain characters. Emoji, curly quotes and non-Latin letters shrink each segment to 70 characters, so a single emoji can add a segment. Prices can also vary by destination.
