Locked out after wrong codes
Why repeated wrong sign-in codes lock you out, and how to get back in.
To stop people guessing, Sovica locks sign-in for 15 minutes after too many wrong attempts. You see Too many attempts. Your account is locked for 15 minutes.
Get back in
Wait 15 minutes. The lock lifts by itself, and an administrator does not need to do anything.
Sign in with your email and password.
Enter the newest code. Old codes expire quickly.
If the codes keep failing
Using an authenticator app? Check that your phone’s date and time are set automatically.
Using text message? Check that your mobile number is right.
Lost your phone? Use a recovery code.
Resetting your password does not shorten the lock.
If you have lost every method, an administrator can reset your two-step sign-in under Business Details on the Security tab.
