Set permissions for one person
Give a staff member their own access without creating a role, when a role doesn't quite fit.
Table of Contents
Roles are the easiest way to manage access. When someone needs something different, set their permissions directly.
Open the person from People and go to Role & locations.
Choose to manage permissions yourself, with Set Permission Myself.
Tick what they need. Check All and Uncheck All help with large groups.
Click Save changes.
Permissions take effect the next time they load a page. If they hit a screen they can't open, it names the permission they're missing, so you know what to tick.
