Apply a promotion at the till
Use a patient's promo code at checkout, and what to do when it won't apply.

Build the sale.
Open the discount options.
Enter or choose the promotion.
Check the total.
If it's refused, check that Point of Sale is ticked, the dates are right and it covers those items. Per-client limits can also block it.
