Set up a payment plan

Spread one invoice across scheduled card payments when a patient would rather pay over time.

A payment plan creates one invoice and charges it in stages.

Build the sale and continue to payment.
Choose Payment plan.
Set the Number of payments and Split method: By percentage or By fixed amount.
Set each Due date, or click Split evenly.
Choose a saved card or Use a different card.
Click Set up payment plan.

Payment plan progress on the invoice shows what's due and lets you Retry. Cancel plan stops later payments, though the invoice still owes them.
