Register an SMS sender ID in Ireland
What Irish clinics need to do to keep sending text messages from their name under the 2025 rules.

Irish rules require businesses to register the alphanumeric sender names they send texts from, with the regulator ComReg. If yours isn't registered, your messages may be blocked or shown as likely scam.
Create an account on ComReg's sender ID portal.
Provide your business documents.
Register the sender name you use.
Enter the same name under Setup, Sender Addresses.
Do this ahead of time, as approval isn't instant. Your sender name must match exactly.
